Hey, I’m Jeremy Uni.
Thank you for stopping by Jeremy Uni Photography! I’ve been the owner and photographer of this small business for about 7 years. My journey as a photographer began as a personal hobby but quickly developed into a lifelong passion. I believe that every shot has the potential to capture a unique narrative, and it’s my goal to help others see the world from a different perspective.
Throughout my career, my work has been featured on the front page of my university newspaper, in respected trade magazines, and even on Apple’s Instagram account. I’ve taken photographs of the late Congressman John Lewis, international musicians, and hundreds of accomplished professionals in a variety of industries. Each experience has enriched my understanding of the art and helped mold my creative vision.
It doesn’t matter if you’re an A-list celebrity or an ordinary person; I treat every client the same and see each project as a partnership, where collaboration is invaluable. My photography philosophy is to create a welcoming, open environment where communication is the driving force to success. This belief and practice will help ensure that your voice is heard and you can express yourself freely during our shoot. Together, we’ll co-create imagery that reflects your narrative and vision.

How did I end up doing photography?
Photography has always fascinated me, even at a young age. I remember as a grade-schooler begging my mother for a camera until she finally bought me a cheap disposable one from the supermarket. I took that 35mm and rode around the neighborhood on my bike, looking for anything that caught my eye. It wasn’t until high school that I rediscovered my love for photography through Photoshop and school computers. From freshman to senior year, I would spend my free time using Photoshop to create funny images of my friends and manipulate photos I had taken.
In high school and college, I took a couple of photography classes to gain a deeper understanding of the fundamentals. Still, most of my experience comes from immersing myself in the world of photography. I began taking professional photos for friends and smaller clients while in college, and after several years, I started to take on larger projects and clients.
Two decades later, from my small beginnings, my ambition remains unchanged. With nearly a decade of professional experience under my belt and a willingness to do whatever it takes to capture the perfect shot, I leave my clients more than ecstatic about their new photos.

Jeremy Uni Photography offers portrait, event, and commercial photography throughout Northern Virginia. Alexandria, Arlington, Centreville, Reston, and Leesburg are just some of the cities I frequently work in.
Washington, DC
I also offer photography services within the city and the surrounding area of Washington, DC. I frequently travel to the nation’s capital to shoot conferences and other event photography.
Beyond the DMV
I offer my services beyond the Washington metropolitan area for an additional fee. I’ve previously traveled to Hawaii, Las Vegas, and North Carolina. Please contact me for a customized quote.
